One of the important tasks of the Ethnological Sciences Committee is to care for the proper development of ethnology and cultural anthropology as well as other ethnological subdisciplines (e.g. in expert, opinion-giving and organizational activities, as well as monitoring the state of ethnological sciences in their various manifestations: education profile, direction of research, the quality of publications). The Committe organizes conferences and other scientific meetings and has been conducting regular publishing activities for many years.
